Loisa is an organic vegan Latinx spice brand based out of New York, that had some overnight success as an alternative to Goya after the #BoycottGoya movement in July of 2020.

Growing from 6,000 followers to 20,000 in less than 24 hours, the founder sought help to use the brand’s newfound reach to create content that lifted up causes and people within the Latinx community.

Through my work on the brand, we steadily increased Loisa’s Instagram audience and sales, created new content pillars that speak to the community, and built out two key aspects to Loisa’s blog: Flavor Profiles and Recipes.

We’ve also gained notable press mentions from The Saveur, Buzzfeed, Delish, Taste, Goop, The New York Times and more.

As a member of the core team I traveled with the team, helping create and produce content for the site, social, events, and the podcast that garners over 100,000 listens.

Latinx Affinity

Group Director

The W+K Latinx Alliance brings cultural awareness of the Latinx identifying people of Wieden+Kennedy and their allies.

As the Latinx Affinity Group Director, I led a month’s worth of programming in honor of Latinx Heritage Month in 2019, including producing a gallery show that supported local Latinx artists, moderating a panel discussion with Buzzfeed’s Pero Like, and producing and hosting multiple podcast episodes surrounding current events in the Latinx community.
